Quiz Extreme Components
Quiz Extreme consists of three different components which provides tremendous flexibility and scalability:- Quiz Server
- Stores all of the quizzes, themes, results and assignments in one central location. This makes it possible to run the system on anything from a single computer to many computers in a networked environment. The Quiz Manager and Quiz Player connect to a Quiz Server to access this information. The Quiz Server runs as a Windows service, so it runs in the background automatically when the computer starts up.
- Quiz Manager
- Gives the instructor, parent, administrator, etc. the ability to create, modify, print, assign, and run quizzes. Also, use the Quiz Manager to create and edit color and font themes, add users, view quiz results, and print quizzes and reports. A shortcut to the Quiz Manager is installed on the desktop and in the Quiz Extreme group in the Windows Start Menu.
- Quiz Player
- Allows students to log into a Quiz Server to take quizzes assigned to them, via a computer based testing (CBT) interface. A shortcut to the Quiz Player is installed on the desktop and in the Quiz Extreme group in the Windows Start Menu. You can also install the Quiz Player on other computers on a home, classroom, or office environment for testing.
